1. Company Information
The North Glass LLC provides custom tempered glass products, frameless shower doors, sliding shower systems, mirrors, hardware, glass fabrication, distribution, and related installation services throughout Florida.
Our products and services may be customized according to the dimensions, specifications, designs, templates, and requirements of each project.
2. Quotes and Estimates
All quotes and estimates provided by The North Glass LLC are based on the information available at the time of the quotation.
Quotes may include materials, hardware, fabrication, delivery, installation, or other services depending on the project.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a quote is not a guarantee of a final project price. Changes in dimensions, materials, hardware, design, installation requirements, site conditions, or customer specifications may result in additional charges.
Quotes may expire after the period specified in the quotation.
3. Custom Products
Many of our products are manufactured specifically for individual projects. Custom glass, shower doors, mirrors, hardware configurations, and other fabricated products may not be eligible for return or cancellation once production has started.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all applicable measurements, specifications, finishes, colors, hardware selections, glass types, and designs before production.
Once a custom order has entered production, changes or cancellations may not be possible or may be subject to additional charges.
4. Measurements and Site Conditions
Accurate measurements are essential for the fabrication and installation of custom glass products.
When measurements are performed by The North Glass LLC, our team will use reasonable professional practices to obtain the necessary dimensions.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when measurements or templates are supplied by the customer or another contractor.
Existing walls, floors, ceilings, tiles, framing, plumbing, waterproofing, structural conditions, or other site conditions may affect installation and final results.
The North Glass LLC is not responsible for conditions that are hidden, concealed, defective, improperly constructed, or outside our reasonable control.
5. Installation Services
Installation services will be performed by qualified personnel using appropriate industry practices.
Installation may require drilling, fastening, sealing, leveling, or other procedures appropriate for the selected glass and hardware system.
The customer must provide reasonable access to the installation area and ensure that the work area is sufficiently prepared before installation.
Additional work required because of unsuitable, damaged, incomplete, or improperly prepared surfaces may result in additional charges.
The North Glass LLC is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing structural, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical, tile, or construction defects that are not caused by our installation work.
6. Product Approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the final design and specifications before fabrication.
Approval may include, but is not limited to:
- Glass type and thickness
- Glass dimensions
- Hardware style and finish
- Door configuration
- Opening direction
- Shower enclosure design
- Mirror specifications
- Templates and custom shapes
- Other project-specific specifications
Once production begins, changes may result in additional costs or may not be possible.
7. Payments
Payment terms will be specified in the applicable quote, invoice, estimate, or agreement.
A deposit may be required before fabrication or production begins.
Any remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.
The North Glass LLC reserves the right to delay fabrication, delivery, or installation when required payments have not been received.
8. Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible.
Orders for standard products may be subject to cancellation according to the applicable order terms.
Custom or fabricated products may not be cancellable once materials have been ordered or production has begun.
Any applicable cancellation charges will depend on the stage of production and the costs already incurred by The North Glass LLC.
9. Delivery
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith and may vary depending on manufacturing schedules, material availability, transportation, project requirements, weather, and other circumstances.
The North Glass LLC will make reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery dates but does not guarantee a specific delivery date unless expressly agreed to in writing.
Delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control will not constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Inspection Upon Delivery or Installation
Customers should inspect products upon delivery or completion of installation.
Any visible damage, incorrect product, or apparent issue should be reported to The North Glass LLC as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should not modify, install, remove, or alter products before contacting us regarding a suspected manufacturing or delivery issue.
11. Warranty
The North Glass LLC stands behind the quality of its products and workmanship subject to the specific warranty terms applicable to each product or service.
Warranty coverage may vary depending on the glass, hardware, installation, manufacturer, and project.
Warranty coverage generally does not include damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, accidents, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, improper cleaning products, or conditions outside the control of The North Glass LLC.
Specific warranty terms provided with a product, invoice, estimate, or written agreement will control in the event of any conflict.
12. Glass and Hardware
Glass is a manufactured material and may contain minor characteristics inherent to the manufacturing process that do not affect its functionality or safety.
Hardware finishes may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer, production batch, lighting, and environmental conditions.
Normal wear, changes in finish, mineral deposits, corrosion caused by environmental conditions, and damage resulting from improper cleaning or maintenance may not be covered by warranty.
13. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate project information.
- Reviewing and approving specifications.
- Providing access to the installation area.
- Ensuring the installation area is reasonably prepared.
- Following recommended cleaning and maintenance instructions.
